Michael Ligett is an island resident with a special place in his heart for Bald Head Island, where he and his wife were married almost 20 years ago. He has been capturing evocative cityscapes, seascapes and landscapes around the world for over 30 years. He is an avid photographer with many solo and juried exhibitions to his credit. His photographs are in the collections of many homes and businesses across the country. He can often be seen walking the roads, the trails or the beaches of the island with a camera or two over his shoulder.
