Upon asking an artist friend to do a commission for me, she answered that she would not be able to do so.    But she quickly added that she would give me personal lessons so that I could do the painting myself.  That wonderful kind opportunity given by a friend truly started my love of painting in oils.  
Taking art lessons with different artists expanded the types and styles of artistic expression until I found my forte.   My preference will always be painting with a touch of whimsy.  My paintings are on the walls of friends, family and clients across the country.
