Though she comes from a family of artists, Christine never thought of herself as one until recently. A lifelong creative, she always had a craft project going, but it was a Wine and Design class that sparked an interest in painting.  With encouragement  from friends and family (along with the newfound spare time that being an empty-nester afforded) she began taking local art classes.

  A member of the Colored Pencil Society of America and their NC chapter, her primary medium is colored pencil- though she also works in watercolor, alcohol ink and acrylic.

As a lifelong gardener and nature lover, Christine finds her inspiration in the plants and animals she finds in her travels and especially here on Bald Head Island.
