Peter maintains an architectural office and art studio on Bald Head Island, NC.  His formal training included a masters degree at Washington  University that resulted in  an architectural practice of over twenty five years.  After school a  much more extensive informal education carried him around the world sketching and painting to document spaces and ideas he encountered. These studies eventually took on their own life and energy bringing him to the studio where he  now resides.

Interpretive landscapes and story illustrations are the primary focus of his paintings.  Preliminary studies for paintings and travel journals have resulted in an extensive collection of pen & Ink sketches.
